Gregory Bae

CV: 2/2/25

Sunday, February 2, 2025, 3-7 p.m.

Come join us for the second iteration of CV, an experimental documentation and exhibition project celebrating and archiving the artwork and legacy of Gregory Bae.

Bill's Auto was home to a significant collection of artworks by Gregory Bae. Having occurred in grief and packaged in haste by Greg's brother Bosco and a group of friends, there is now an opportunity to continue the process of archiving this collection spanning more than a decade. CV is a public documentation and exhibition project.

Our purpose is to develop a series of events that will act as research sessions for the archive of Gregory Bae, and celebrate his life and work among friends. We want you to come see the work as it's being documented, and help to continue the dialogue around one of most impactful artists that Chicago has seen.

CV is a collaboration with the production company Bob. and the artist-run gallery Bills Auto in conjunction with the Gregory Bae Memorial Fund and the family of Gregory Bae.

This event will be held at 3808 S. Ashland, Chicago, Illinois.

There will be a presentation of Bae's work in the gallery as well as a selection of art objects being documented for the developing digital archive of Gregory Bae. We hope to see you there!
